Dunhinda, is yet another natural resource which holds the respect of providing visitors with memorable experiences. It is also considered to be one of the most beautiful waterfalls in Sri Lanka. Dunhinda falls is located in the misty region of Badulla in the Uva Province and nourished by the Badulu Oya. This waterfall gets its name with the smoky attire it wears at its bottom or foot. It is also another fall which takes courage to get near.


It measures at 210 feet high and is wide apart at full strength. Visitors should take a muddy pathway if they have intensions of enjoying the scenic beauty of this fall. Tourists are encouraged with traditional drinks on their way to the fall which is approximately 2km. On their way they are greeted further by Kuda Duhinda Falls which is another important component of the environmental balance within
the area.
